I love my job creating natural smiles. Even after 43 years, I still get a kick out of what I do. I look forward to every new day in the lab and the challenges it brings.

Meet Monty, the Lab Dog
Meet Monty, the Lab Dog
Monty is my 3.5 year old Scottish Deerhound.
As you can see, Monty has beautiful teeth but sadly, he is not that interested in dentistry.
He likes sleeping, 'zoomies', sleeping a bit more and eating cheese.
He's very laid back, super friendly and always ready to listen. He truly is this man's best friend!

Away from the bench..
When I'm not in the lab, I love to walk in the beautiful Chiltern Hills near my home. There is an abundance of wildlife on my doorstep and I have been lucky enough to see Roe and Muntjac deer and the occasional fox.
I am a very keen Koi keeper and pond builder, with a collection of 18 Koi carp.
My love of fish and water also leads me to many happy hours on a river bank, always trying to catch the big one...
I enjoy making things out of reclaimed materials including dining tables using reclaimed scaffold boards and lamp bases using recycled fibres. I've also created a clay model of my Monty's head.
